Trick number one: Being noisy without barking
If you have been taught not to bark at home, especially after midnight, but you can't resist and you want your voice to be heard, follow these simple steps...
1. open and close your mouth without any voice coming out...you'll be really appreciated by your humans and they'll probably give you some yummie treats, it's fun how much they like it.
2. Now they're very happy of you, so you can try saying something (yawwwoooouuulll) with a very soft and nice voice, followed by two or three soft barks, but be careful, do not exagerate or you have to start from the beginning again.
3. As your humans turns to you with their typical look of reproach, you're ready to show them how happy you are of being a samoyed and grab the most noisy squeacky game and make all the possible sounds come from it (you can try with the cat either, if you have one, but the sound coming out is not that good for your purpose).
4. Your humans will be really happy and try to play with you taking your game from your mouth and they'll follow you around to grab it, while you keep on playing the most beautiful sounds with it. Be careful, don't let them grab it, they would be so disappointed that the game would finish...what they really want is run aftreyou and play with you, and don't believe them when they ask you the game.
5. So you have obtained 2 things: you have shown all the neighbourhood how happy you are without barking and you've made your humans happy playing with them and demonstrating them that you are not that vocal...they'll appreciate it...
